Insights from worlwide CML physicians help
patients understand their disease and the
treatments currently available to treat and
control the disease. Moreover, the prognosis of
CML needs to be explained in layman terms to
the patients by physicians.
Most CML patients are on long-term drug
therapies and need to adjust to living with CML.
Diagnosis time is a traumatic time for CML
patients and even if doing well, some patients
have to deal with depression.
Additionally, access to CML drugs can be
confusing with the new Medicare program in the
USA.
